Kâtip Çelebi As an Example of Interrelation Between Consiousness and Mentality, As the Last Human Postmodern Subject Whose Walls of Consciousness Have Been Destructed and As an Emaple of Inquiry Consciousness

Abstract

Information is the result of the activity of knowing, which is one of the most basic existence spheres of the human being and which has been identified with the concept of mentality that meets all of the widespread cognition types on the human himself, on the universe, and on God. The activity of knowing is related with the fact that a person has a consciousness, a cognition capacity, and a sphere of existence that acts with the knowledge that it possesses. The relation between the wide spread cognition types of an era and the recognition of the existence as the sphere of existence of the person, is the most basic fundament of definition of the person as a conscious inquiry consciousness, or as an existence. In getting to know about the wide spread cognition types, accepting it as it is, represents the unconsciousness situation of the human being before the knowledge. The tendence of accepting without inquiry is the biggest factor that threatens the sphere of existence of the human being in terms of consciousness. The contemporary era seems to be an era of a consciousness that inquires thoughts, sinces and the knowledge on itself with a new view, and it seems to be the era, which has better occasion than the previous eras in getting to understand the relation between knowledge and consciousness that is composed of the contradictional relationship between these two essential attitudes. The consciousness of the era has been established over the destruction of the geographical, ethnical and linguistic walls before the knowledge, within the historical process. Inquiry is an activity of vital importance for the human being in establishing his own conscience center, since it is in an activity that necessiates the person to use the ability of knowing himself which is in essence the state of consciousness of the person. In this sense, evaluating Katip Çelebi, which is one of the people that destructed the wall of consciousness that is shaped by the mentality and who is an inquiry consciousness as a junction point, has been evaluated as an exemple of inquiry consciousness in his relations with this wall and in the destruction of the old walls and the new walls. The relation of the consciousness and types of cognition with the wall of consciousness has been inquired within this framework, with its basic elements.

Intra Community Cooperation As A New Entrepreneurship Phenomenon

Abstract

Business organizations are founded to produce specific products or services. From planning to the reach of products to end consumer; each stage of business organizations contain sev-eral risks and ambiguity. With the effect of globalization, risks and ambiguities of business organizations are increasing. Broadly, the act of founding business organizations that con-tain certain risks and several ambiguities is called “entrepreneurship”. In cultures with intense collective behaviors, individual entrepreneurship is generally lim-ited. In addition, in new world order, public entrepreneurship is declining. It is obvious that, in order to increase social competition and power, more entrepreneurship activities are needed. In this context, it seems possible to utilize entrepreneurial ability of some sub-culture constitutions that are present in Turkish social structure. These social constitutions, which are called “Community” (Cemaat), present several cases of high level of commitment and altruism inside and they constructed successful business organizations in recent years. In order to create a whole entrepreneurial spirit in Turkish society and therefore construct more business organizations in this country; the cooperational attitude of this sub-culture constitutions should be adhered to national economy.

In fact, Sultan Abdulhamid not only extended the life of Ottoman Empire but also dammed up imperialism during his 33 years of reign. Keeping themselves far from the dangers, deriving benefit from the conflictions between enemy forces, in the balance politicy of worlds diplomacy keep Ottoman Empire the protector of Muslim and Turkish world. Here we are going to show the recollections which will bring out into the open how the zionism was frustrated by Sultan Abdulhamid and how the Turkish nationalism should be. Einstein, Zionizm and Israel: Connecting Directly

Öz

Did Albert Einstein, support the Political Zionizm which guided the foundation of Israel? Did he defend Zionist Israel politically till his death? Giving popular answers to this kind of questions may not be absolute. In fact, the answers create a usual myth or a misunderstanding. So what’s it? Are we talking about the same Einstein? Didn’t he admit himself as “a sharp defender of Zionist idea” in 1929? Didn’t he start his speech with these words: “While I was feeling the pleasure of appealing to you on behalf of Zionist aim, 10 years ago, for the first ti-me…” ? Wasn’t he Einstein who gave a speech named “ Our debt to Zionism” in1938? All the answers for these questions are “yes”. In that case, how can it be a myth or a misunderstanding? Actually, this is a subject of essay. The minds shouldn’t reach a jugement unless they examine this essay; this is my request. The subject of this essay is important and it is not only related to the historical fact but also a fundemantal logic. It is known by everybody that Einstein is a great scientist . Besides, his opinions and contributions, as a human being and philosoph, to the issues of today, are still worth to research and think. This subject has got a private part, which is related to the Middle East conflict continuing nowadays. Even though we’d like to discover the further side of the things happened in the past, jewish or not, Arabic or not, Muslim or not, Western or Eastern: all of us can benefit from his foresight, vision and valuations.

Mario Levi's "New Novel" I Prepared You Pandispanya A Study Of A Structural Analysis

Abstract

As its leading author Alain Grillet insistently emphasized that "New Novel" is an orientation

of a search rather than a new moment. According to Grillet, the understanding of New Novel

means to understand and express the changing connection and interplay between the man

and the life and to create a new product with its sui generis soul and type. Because the

literature is alive as well as the instinct life, it is impossible to imagine that the novel stay with

the same type constantly as 150 years past, even though everything within the environment is

always transformed and rapidly changed. Every novel is supposed to and have to find its own

type and style depending on time and space.

Under these circumstances, the aim of this article is to analyze the newly published novel of

Maro Levi entitled as "Size Pandispanya Yaptım" [I prepared you Pandispanya] within the

framework of Grillet's opinions and this perspective. Therefore, the Novel, as an completed

structure, is attempted to be analyzed by having seperated its components respectively with

structuralist approach.

The study has composed of fi ve chapters excluding the "introduction" and "conclusion". In

the first chapter, there is a detailed summary of the novel "Size Pandispanya Yaptım" [I

prepared you Pandispanya] . The second chapter has the title "Novel as a Structure" and

analyzed the meaning of the structure within the novel. In the third chapter, in this turn, as an

art of narrative, the novel has been evaluated with its main components. The chains of events,

the interwoven cases, its narrators and perspectives have been elucidated and illustrated with

the quotations from the aforementioned novel. The fourth chapter, in a way, is the parodist

reading of the novel "Size Pandispanya Yaptım" [I prepared you Pandispanya]. In this

approach, it is aimed to demonstrate the distinctive feature of the novel with its trespassing

position of the traditional idea of novel. Lastly the fifth chapter monitors the language and

type of the novel by focusing on the standpoints of Norman H. Holland as an prominent

author of psychoanalytic critical theory.

Continuing its being without any support and link is something that should be appreciated for an academic and intellectual journal. Since the date 26 April 2009 five years passed, we published the 11th issue and are about to complete the 12th special issue, this shows there is not only the physical struggle but also the intellectual existence. Our basic aim while publishing this journal was to gain “something" to Turkish intellectual life. We struggled; studied; endeavoured. Eventually, feeling the rightful pleasure of being an unremitting intellectual journal is certainly important. However, the effects of the readers' and the writers' positive and negative critiques on the continuity of these kind of journals can not be denied. Our journey which continues as considering all the critiques and our intellectual investments directed to the future, will continue uninterruptedly despite all the negations. It is a reality that some articles which are published in our journal will be important milestones in the future building of Turkey. Our point of departure and aim was being the leader of a local at the same time a global intellectual movement; our journal for which we spend effort to leave it as a source for the next generations; continuing its publication life in Aydın which can be accepted as a provincial city, is the result of an extreme devotion. Publishing the articles of many writers, academics from social science area in Turkey and all over the World; whereas the silence of the city's University's academic community is a noteworthy situation. This is a grim truth. The reason of this situation can't be the advocacy. Because of our publishing politics, we believe that all the views are respectable. It can be seen in some of our issues the opposing views were together. As we don't do any restriction to the views, there must be another reason for this silence: it is the humiliation of being in the provinces. It is nothing else. It shouldn't be forgotten that the provinces keep afloat the center.

In this issue there are valuable researches and academical articles. But, we made a difference at the 11th issue. We will sometimes feature the articles like these. We had a wide interview with Mr. Ahmet Lütfi Akar the President of Turkish Red Crescent under the title of “The Turkish Red Crescent From Past to Today and The vision of 2023". We are thankful to him because he allowed time to us in his busy schedule. Thanks a lot to Keziban Kaymakcı who is a doctorate student in School of Business in Pamukkale University, for helping us in the preparation process of this interview. The other articles are; a research article which is mitten with an academic speech by Doz. Dr. İmran Gür named “The relation between senses and mentality,The last human being whose consciousness' walls were collapsed, Postmodern Subject and an example of inquiry consciousness Katip Çelebi"; the article of a valuable intellectual and journalist Rahim ER, which was published before in The History and Civilisation Magazine, named “The Dignity of Soul Making One Sell His Ring", “The Religious - Sufistic Items in Ali Dede (Pesendî)'s Poems " by Doç. Dr.Mustafa Güneş, “The Cooperation in The Religious Assembly as A New Enterprise Spirit Plot“ by Şeyma Gün Eroðlu and'in “The mouth to mouth communication bent of the Tourists who visit Turkey" an academic study written by Prof. Dr Mustafa Gülmez and Dr Gülay Özaltın Türker. “An Instant from the History of Mosul-Kirkuk 1-2-3" in which we translated three documents from Ottoman Turkish to Modern Turkish the documents are from the Prime Ministry's Ottoman archives and they can show the way to the foreign policy of Turkey today. We are sharing the articles written by me “Sultan II. Abdulhamid and Zionism" and “Einstein, Zionism and Israel: Connecting Directly" written by Doç. Dr. Muhammad Ömer Faruk.

Hope to see you in our 12th special issue...
